Take on the challenge to escape the worst job anyone's ever had

One Hell of a Platformer | Hell of an Office Review

Working in a bad office can feel like Hell, but what if you actually were contract-bound to Satan and forced to work in literal Hell? In Hell of an Office, you have a stapler and a dream to break out of Hell.

Now working under Mr. Stapler, you are sent on never-ending tasks (read: busy work) that take you from floor to floor. The catch? Every time you jump into the elevator, you have to pass a handful of levels before you reach your next location.

So, what’s so hard about these levels? Well, for starters, lava is constantly rising threatening to kill you once you leave your beginning platform. Now dash to floating platforms. Use your stapler to blast any surface to get some air and hope this helps you find your next patch of stable ground.

This is also only the beginning. As you progress, more abilities and obstacles will be introduced. Abilities like slamming down into the ground and spots you can pull yourself towards will have you thinking more about your movement. Soon, you will be able to ride water slides and dodge pink spikes like a pro.

Once you hit around level 70, the difficulty seems to increase. Those first couple dozen go by so fast that the harder levels might surprise you. One massive tip that I did not use until getting stuck on level 100 is that you can turn off the rising lava. This will eliminate you from trying for the leaderboard, but if you are stuck, you can always just turn it off for that one level.

This is not a game for the easily frustrated. Hell of an Office gives you perfect control of your character, so you can save a lot of runs from a single mistake. Even though the controls are amazing, it will probably take a few tries to figure out the layout of the more elaborate levels. So, take your time, and take a deep breath. Good luck~
