A Broken Lens With a Clear View | Broken Lens
I found a little hidden gem of a find-the-difference game in Broken Lens! Explore a broken planet as a little robot with a slight sight problem.

Cozy games have become a popular “genre” that encapsulates a large variety of gameplay styles. Anything from small farming sims to large open-world adventures, if the vibes are right, it can be a cozy game. One of the popular categories are puzzle games and I have found a new one to add to your Wishlist. Broken Lens is an adorable find-the-difference game that has you playing as a small robot discovering the story of what happened on this broken planet. Handcrafted by a team of six from France, this game has you finding the difference between two similar pieces of art. The pictures are full of adorable frogs and colorful blocks, rock people, and ghosts. As you progress, figure out what led the planet to its current state.
This game has you playing through different biomes of the planet or timeline and finding several differences per level. Each biome has 100 differences to spot (ten per level) and one card to find. Each card you collect will go into your journal and begin to tell the planet’s story.
The music makes this game a perfect one to play a few levels at the end of the night. The soothing and relaxing atmosphere is perfectly mixed with the calm gameplay of point-and-click-feel differences. Explore all 5 biomes and if you collect all 500 differences, you can unlock the final biome and go for that completion run. This game is the perfect shortish game, I put in just under 11 hours on my causal run. I wish there was more to talk about because this game is great, but the game loop is simply find what is different. I highly recommend this to everybody, if you love puzzle games or simply want a relaxing game to play, Broken Lens is perfect.
